Vital Roots has consistently pleased patrons at every event, wetting the palettes with infectious rhythms, catching chorus lines and leaving everyone in awe. The prospect is looking bright and for Vital Roots it's just the beginning.

The Band's music clearly reflects the love for humanity regardless of their ethnic background and pays homage to life and their individual influences generally and musically. The main reason Vital Roots is such a sonorous force to reckon with stems from the fact that each member has acquired a wealth of experience over the years in separate projects Recording, Performing or Touring.

One of the sadly unsung, talented constellation of Jamaica's veritable music Ambassadors, the VITAL ROOTS BAND was formed with the most congenial members the law would allow, back in 1983 in St. Ann, Jamaica, a Parish that produced a caldron of talent including the Prolific Bob Marley, Burning Spear and others.

In 1992 the Band embarked on a musical journey through Europe and the rest of the world as Opening Act and Backing Band with some of Reggae's luminaries such as Frankie Paul, Charley Chaplin, Iqulah to name a few. Currently based in Zurich, Switzerland, the band has settled and made a name for themselves, thanks to their depth of musicality, passion for the music and charismatic stage presence.
